STARK Group expands its footprint in Germany

STARK Group, has through its subsidiary, STARK Deutschland, signed an agreement to acquire Lieblein Baustoffe GmbH located in Aub-Baldersheim. The acquisition will strengthen STARK Deutschland’s position in the Lower Franconia/Northern Bavaria area.

Lieblein has an assortment and design aimed at the professional craftsmen. The branch covers an area of around 15,000 sqm and will be the fifth STARK Deutschland branch in the region in addition to the branches in Würzburg, Eisingen and Bad Mergentheim.

The acquisition of Lieblein Baustoffe follows the recent acquisition of Ludwig Pfeiffer Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH, Kassel. Ludwig Pfeiffer Hoch- und Tiefbau will operate under STARK Deuschlands’s brand Muffenrohr Tiefbauhandel. The branch has a total area of 3000 sqm, and within the next couple of weeks, Muffenrohr will invest in modernising the branch and expanding the former storage area to accommodate the customers even better.

STARK Deutschland will take over the activities in Liebein Baustoffe and Ludwig Pfeiffer Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH as of 1 February 2022. The parties have chosen not to disclose the terms and price of the transaction.
