STARK Group opens new national distribution centre in Denmark
STARK Group has officially opened a new national distribution centre in Greater Copenhagen. The investment marks an important step in the Group’s strategy to further develop its industry-leading logistics capabilities and build a more efficient, digital and scalable distribution platform across its markets.
The new distribution centre builds on STARK Group’s experience from its central warehouse in Eskilstuna, Sweden, which opened in 2024. There, centralisation and automation have strengthened the Group’s logistics capabilities and enabled a significantly broader product range, greater availability and faster deliveries. The experience gained in Sweden has informed the development of the Danish distribution centre.
Over time, the distribution centre will provide access to up to 50,000 products and strengthen product availability across its Danish branch network. From its location in Greater Copenhagen, the company can offer next-day delivery across Denmark and reach 35% of its Danish customers within one hour.
The increased capacity also enables STARK Group to offer customers a broader range of light building materials. This strengthens STARK Group’s position in a segment where the Group has historically held a smaller market share and creates a stronger foundation for growth.

The new distribution centre creates benefits across the value chain. Customers gain easier access to a broader product range, greater availability and more efficient deliveries. Suppliers can increasingly deliver to one national hub rather than multiple local locations, while STARK Group can consolidate larger volumes and manage product flows more efficiently.

The distribution centre is highly automated and includes AutoStore technology, supporting faster and more efficient product flows.
The building is pre-certified to DGNB Gold and has been constructed using materials including glulam timber, recycled steel and a sedum roof.
