Group Chief Strategy Officer Daniel Potok leaves STARK Group

Group Strategy Officer Daniel Potok has decided to make a career change and hence leave STARK Group later this year to explore new career paths.

Daniel Potok joined our Group as Group CSO and member of the Executive Committee in late 2016. He has been instrumental in the strategic and financial turnaround of STARK Group, which has placed our Group on a solid growth trajectory under private equity firm Lonestar (2018-21) and today, private equity firm CVC.

Daniel Potok will continue working for STARK Group on selected transformative projects until the year-end of 2022. He will hand over the position as Group CSO and member of STARK Group’s Executive Committee to Matias Lönneker as of 1 September 2022.

STARK Group’s strategy and M&A efforts have, until now, resided under the Group CSO role. That holds for Strategy and the Group Strategy team, while the responsibility for M&A and the Group M&A team will transfer to Group CFO Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen.

Britta K. Stenholt takes the role of chairman for Electro Energy.
